Thanks to E.L., who brought this pattern from All People Quilt to our attention. From her leftover pattern and scraps and scraps from my own stash I managed to make two of these. Just like carrots from the garden, one is short and fat and the other is long and skinny. I'll be gifting one to an unsuspecting friend or family member next Easter...

Too CUTE! I was hoping to get a few "quick" projects in over my break but guess I'll be embroidering in the hospital instead of quilting in my sewing room. Or (GASP) maybe I can read a book that isn't about anatomy or breath rates... ooo scary thought!!! Very cute carrots, tho. I love 'em.
