New York, New York
This picture of me was taken on top of the Empire State Building circa January 1995. That's the twin towers behind me. I cherish this picture for all it symbolizes. A sunny morning...a photo taken before digital cameras (if you don't have the negatives, the paper becomes so precious)... my chance to see New York in its "innocence" (an American innocence that's gone)...travel, something I wish I had more of in my life.
Today is a day like any other...a Friday...errands, housework, a school picnic. Life goes on. But anniversaries of days we grieve are printed on us forever.

Nice photo. I have a friend who has one too, taken the summer before it all went down. So sad, today. You were lucky to have seen the city in it's innocence.
